Default How do I remove stereo unit?

Before I start crawling under the dashboard, skinning knuckles, spilling blood and breaking bits of plastic; can anyone give me any clues on how to remove the stereo unit (single CD player type) from an '06 LX Focus?
Cheers,
N.R.

You need:

You'll need 2 sets (4 keys in total)

Otherwise if your in Syd I can do it for petrol money.

you need 4 special keys to remove the stereo, u will find there are 2 little slots at the top and bottom which the keys go in and the stereo pops out. I got my stereo done at jb hifi, they had the keys already. i know u can buy them off ebay also

Nice factory audio options they have in the UK.

I'd love to know how much the DVD navigation system with the intergrated A/C controls would set you back.

crowbars are too advanced for bankstown, involves too much fiddling around. Pointing a gun gets the job done easier...
