No...they are completely different formats...the only way to do it would be cut and paste.

I think you can import into Corel 10 and then export as a JPEG

Actually, I am 100% sure World - Corel10 - Jpeg is possible, and if thats so, excel should also do the same

i think excel can export as a web page too so that could be an option (And the file would be smaller than a jpeg... just depends if u really need a jpg or not)

Adobe InDesign should be able to take care of the text file. Not sure about the Excel file though.

I remember there being a freeware software tool around that could do this kind of thing. Not sure what it was called, but a little browse through www.download.com should find it if it's still around.

From memory it worked kinda like PDF files, in that you printed it, but instead of going to the printer, it created the file.

Cheers,
Dave

Dave, there's a program called PDF995 that does that (converts to pdf file), works a treat.

rename the extension as .jpg

Sure, it won't work as a jpg, but if someone downloads it & renames the extension to .xls then it should work fine :p

there is a better way - download pdf995.com and convert it to a PDF File (when you print it - chose pdf995 as the printer and it will output to a PDF File).

Give this to your friend who can view it using acrobat reader (free download from adobe.com and should come on the drivers CD with most pc's).

another way is print the document to a file (which makes a .prn file) that can be opened with most image editors (when making the printer use the apple laserwriter II NTX driver) because its postscript, then save as a jpg
