Hey guys,
As the holidays are coming up I was thinking that I wouldn't mind tackling this job. As far as I know you take the lights off, then carefully cut through the sealent and then the pop open. Take out the orange bit, then seal it back up. But im guessing its not that easy...so for all of us; how is it done? Thanks in advance!

if it's eb or ed i'm pretty sure u can use a screwdriver thru the globe hole at the back to break the orange part, then pliers etc to remove the bits

I can't try and make them anymore, I always end up breaking one corner of it when I go to pull it apart. Tail lights from wreckers are expensive! I can't keep pinching them anymore, I'm already on the run, haha.

Yes you heat up a stanley knife blade and carefully and slowly melt the lens and the body apart, takes an hour to go all around on one lense, then remove the bits you dont want, and using silicon stick it back together.

Laminge once voiced the similar type of view on Fordmods some time back about petty posts about Ford forums. Remember; going to a forum is like choosing the television station you like to watch, if you don't like it choose another station, but someone else will like what you didn’t like, like South Park, lots hate it but it has a strong fan base and it isn’t going to disappear any time soon. Since ff.au was created I have seen a huge improvement in freedom of speech over ff.com and fresh views, it may not be as open as FM but ff.au members didn’t want that and I can understand that, and it gives more forum choices for Aussie Ford lovers.

mate, sorry to give u such a bad opinion of myself.
I'm actually a very active member on fordmods, and what i was said was a joke. I'm good friends with DCStraight and other FM members so please don't take what i said as being serious.

Does anyone have any pics of what the idicator looks like when its flashing?
ie- did you change the bulb? Put a silicon sleve over it? I dont want to go to the trouble of doing it to then seal it and find out the flash is not bright enough.
