ive looked at doing it. it seems to be the same as what you would do when converting the dash lights to LED's
not sure if it would light up any good though

Might be worthwhile since I don't like the difference in lighting between the LCD and the buttons... would rather have the buttons darker or lcd lighter, could just beef up the size of the resistors a little

i have just put Blue LED's in my cluster and climate control, dash looks great, no bright or dark spots, but the needles dont light up that well, so i will either have to get white needles or use a few red spot LEDs to brighten them up, the Climate controld on the other hand came out ****. Because there is only 2 bulbs lighting all buttons they arent bright enough, so i will have to add a few more LED's in there, plus probably frost them a bit to get the light to spread a little further. I have also done all my electric window buttons Blue, and have Blue LED foot well lighting aswell, but have red Foot well lights when a door is opened, which looks great against the Blue dash. Im still in the process of changing my Ariel Hight button, rear demister and Door Lock buttons over to blue, they are a little more fiddly than the others.
Looks better in person and needles are ok but could be better. Not a real good shot but anyways, my power window buttons.
