Saw this in Geelong a few weeks ago. Was a forte. Had intercepters on it/steelies. Thought maybe it was an ex-taxi??

a lot of money ? How did you come to this conclussion ?

It's probably cheaper to run on gas/fuel than a BA.

lol, would you rather be driving around in taxi yellow (if it was previously one), or spend $1k or whatever it is for paint etc, and respray it yourself. And how do you know they havent just resprayed it before they get stuck into some more mods etc?

I Didnt Say I Didnt Like The Color....of Course I Like It Just Looked Weird Seeing It On An Au! Isee The Point Of The Respray, If You Wanna Respray It Why Not Be Different
Didnt Mean To Start A War Or Anything

There's a factory painted AU3 Futura here, its Acid Rush in colour and has Fairmont rims. Looks quite unusual (i dont really think the colour does anything for the shape of the car though).

I've been told it was one of the very last AU's ever made, and it was a test dummy for the new paint.

needs to be un-taxi-ified ( ie some 18's, lower the damn thing and maybe a kit.) but it could look quite good finished!
