Hey All,
Just came across this site (http://www.platinumpaintprotection.com/) and was wondering if anyone has dealt with this type of paint protection/shine before, and if so, how your car has turned out. Cheers |

Paint Protection I have found a waste of money, I now save the money and buy a heap of Meguires car care products of Themboys.
Car looks better and in my view is protected better.

Thanks guys,
Thought it looked a bit dodgy. Something about all those testimonials usually hints that the product isn't worth buying. Out of curiosity, how much did it set you back? |

The best thing you can do is that ceramic based clear coat that merc have been using for a while and now ferrari and other exotics use.
its basically designed to withstand those bodgy washes and its too hard to get swirl marks and the like. also keeps the shine in the car years on and keeps the paint looking like glass. PPG suply it i think talk to any prestige painter and theyll tell you all about it.

As for paint protection there is no magic products they're just a really durable sealant & the paint still needs to be looked after & they still wear out. They're still not as durable as paint but act as a sacrificial barrier so they cop it before your paint does. I'll stick to regular waxing it looks better & you know it's there. |
