Hello Gentlemen/Women Can anyone give me a suggestion for my squeeling, and constant rubbing coming from my rear brakes... its driving me  : I have a 99 AU XR6 and have had this noise for freakin ages. I recently replaced the rotors to DBA Slotted and new Greenstuff brake Pads. The noise is still as bad as ever. I have been told it is probably the handbrake and is a common problem with the AU. How can i get rid of this bloody noise.....? Someone.... Anyone!  : |

Requirtes either adjustment of the handbrake shoes inside the rear disc, or replacement of the handbrake shoes. It's not just AU falcons that do this, but BAs as well, plus camrys, magnas and every series commodore from VT on.

Quick way to get rid of the noise while driving is give the handbrake a little pull

yeah mine do it to. I tried to drive wiith handbrake on as well but it still hasnt fixed it, mine only started doing it wen i put the Dba discs on bloody crap. Stock discs no noises. Ive adjusted the handbrake as well, mayb i shuld just back it off.
