Just came back from watching it at the local cinema tonight.
Man, what can I say... it was insane! I'd definetly rate this movie up there with Saw III in terms of wtf moments but in a good way. Story goes, a bunch of female explorers set out to investigate a newly discovered cave out in the middle of some rainforest miles away from civilisation (tacky I know, but it gets good) anyway, what turned out to be a simple adventure trip in a cave ends up being a total nightmare. The girls all end up getting trapped a few km's underground but thats not even the worst part, I dont want to really spoil the movie especially if anybody of you plans on seeing it but they get slaughtered and not straight away its actually quite painful to say the least! There turns out to be other 'beings' down underground already inhabiting the cave which the girls didnt realise from the beginning. (missed all the dangerous subtle signs) Its very scary and at times during the movie you will not expect stuff to happen when they do. Loved it! I really recommend anybody here to go check it out if you are into survival horror movies. |
