Default XD Phase 5

Ok. I was talking to a fellow ford enthusiast yesterday, about cars in general, and got onto the topic of XD's.
I was always under the impression there was a Phase 5 XD... which what I thought i knew was that it wasn't originally produced by ford, but the kit built by another company, and introduced here as the phase 5..

Anyone help?

The Phase 5 was going to be the XB GTHO coupe. Damn shame it never happened, would have been the toughest Falcon ever made.
