my work mate bought a brand new Ford over 1 year ago from Brisbane and drove it home 2,000 klms ... he told it to Ford a few times for service and other checks .. to save money he took it to RACQ mechanic to do the service ... now look what the mechanic found that was left in the springs ... wonder if driving it around for that long would have damaged the suspension ....

can i have those so i can stick em in my springs evrytime i get done for being too low.
but seriously your mate should of noticed a very hard and harsh ride as the springs weren't doing they're job properly i would checkout the suspension and and strut towers very well |

Are they ignition lead dividers? If it was a V8 it would make sense as those things can hold up to 8. The lead holder on my I6 is smaller than that and the part is bolted onto the rocker cover closer to the windscreen end

they are used to raise the car up so it is easier to load and unload from the car transporters!!
they wont hurt anything... just would of ridden rather terribly??

Why the hell didn't ford remove them? (lazy)
Handy to have something like that but probably better kept in the boot than on the springs.

handy when you have to load ur car onto a car trailer for what ever reason and its rather low eh..

If that happened to me I would be ringing up Brisbane and asking for my Dealer Delivery fee back! What else may they have missed?

more the point, how the hell would you not feel the car having no suspension travel.
they're coil spring chocks......so the car doesnt buck around on the car carrier... they should have been removed at pre-delivery! |

honestly i believe it could have been an honest mistake, this time it was on something that could have caused alot of damage..... best thing to do is tell them about it so they remember for next time.. none of the bagging of ford's services will EVER help them improve
btw i dont no what they are for but id tell them and get them to check over the car or something
