What year? Engine/gearbox? Say injected 350 and T5 and I will hunt you down and pinch it. The Camaro, not the EF.

Oh damn, im so jealous.
Is it 3rd gen or 4th gen? The last tiem i went for a test drive to buy this low-spec camaro the guy started pointing out the wonderful fuel economy due to the tall gearing. Then he pulled over on the SE freeway and floored it to show me the power. My EA could have beat it! Needless to say, i hope you picked up an IROC spec camaro. I've noticed that Camaros (3rd gen in particular) are dirt cheap compared to Corvettes and 'stangs... :ymca:
I'm guessing you've scored an early-mid 80s 305TPI with a 3 speed auto? If so, that's a good starting point ;) Kinda like getting an EB 5.0... It's got potential, but ya gotta do a bit of work to it first (boy does this sound familiar) : If it's a Z28/Z06 IROC or whatever they're called... Buy a decent alarm & immobiliser, coz I'm gonna be competing with Rob for who can get to it first : -Dave- Congrats on the purchase by the way! |
