Hey, an Escort was my dream car when I got my license and I considered an RS2000 an exotic!

A couple of times, I've pulled up at a set of lights beside a car full of young ladies, and they've all waved at me. It's either the car or my good looks (pffft.. as if : )

I am allways getting the thumbs up from people. When I picked the kids up from school one day as I was driving off some kid yelled out "go the muscle cars"
One day this guy came up next to me and started waving his arms around and pointing at the car. At first I thought he was getting up me, then he pulled in front of me and started pointing for me to pull over . When I pulled over he came over to the car and asked me if I wanted to sell it. I had a good laugh at that one as I had only just got it on the road after 2 years and there is no way I would sell it.

It helped my nephew understand why GTs are the best.

Thanks mate whoever you are, the boy is hooked.

my parents never really cared for what cars i liked, or for that matter weren't fussed if i liked cars at all. My old man had a xa coupe when he has younger but that still didn't spark my passion for gt's. The main spark started YEARS ago (im 21 now) when i knew gt's were the bomb but there was this one orange xy gt that launched so hard at a set of lights he left two of the fattest black strips that would have gone for aaaaaaaaages and that really cemented my passion for them. Ever since that day i've always said i want a gt 351 when i'm older and my dream has come true, i rego my xw phase 2 replica on tuesday!!!

I will definately do my best to infect more young kids if they look at it at traffic lights or even just cruising, feels funny knowing i was in their exact boots only a few years ago! (already had a few instances in my mk2 esky but i have a feeling the GT will turn a few more heads lol)

heres a pic of my beast to be:

****, that looks good. XW GT was released the same month I was born! Now be prepared for all the hordes coming up to you and asking "is it real?". They ask me that about my gold watch, lol.

I get the old is it a 302 or 351 mate and I used to have one of those. The mini seems to attract lots of attention as well (more from the female side of the community).

did you study for it?

the coupe gets a lot of positive responses, thumbs and comments, it is a nice feeling, particularly after throwing so much time and money at it. Sometimes I find it difficult not to smile (would ruin the muscle car image)!

I thought my car attracted a lot of attention, until I got my cute little dog. He's a chick magnet.

I've been asked that a few times since getting the dual exhaust, they all get a real suprised look on their face when i say, "nah its only a 6".

I love it when people give you a wave or thumbs up when you drive past, even people driving toranas wave and guys in new fords give the thumbs up.

But most of the time its little retards telling me to spin it. Bad influence
