Hi All,
It was a great day at Winton Raceway on Sunday, organisers reported 385 people took part, either as passengers or drivers. On the track, most sessions their were more than 60 cars. Sessions were 1/2 hourly with singles folllowing passenger sessions. At lunch time, the kids were able to go for hot laps around the track as passengers. The cars paraded behind the safety car, our kids throughly enjoyed the ride, however they both said it was not fast enough........... I even got to go for a spin with Darren then later drove the car home. I even spotted a focusXR5 turbo cruising around the track, I don't think the driver was too impressed when we flew by and left them eating our dust....... Well it was a great day, sorry that circumstances changed and members were unavailable. Hopefully we can organise another time at one of the next fun days in the new year. Treena |
