Will fit in no worries. Pipes and mounts and sump off the shelf. Not sure if the firewall might be an issue since it sticks out more than XD's etc. I have done a few swaps XW XE just not an XF

Thanks
I have an 87 update fairmont ghia efi 6 and my donor car is a complete very rusty 1973 lincoln town car 460 c6 auto 56,000 original miles. I have the mounts and extractors a 9" to suit xf, so I have the lot! My main concern is the fact that I am installing a carbi engine where an efi one once lived. I know I have to change the fuel tank. I have a tank out of a carbi xf. What about all the electrics in the ghia? will everything still work? What about the instrument cluster?

You know i would leave the EFI tank, remove sender unit and take EFI pump from sender unit.It is nice and big to fit a nice size line out of the tank to suit the BB. Fabricate up a pick up tube then to suit.
Only other issue if it is a lincoln is it may have the long extension housing C6 with the rear mount angled on the side as opposed to some C6 use the same as XF gearbox mount. No big drama just the long one will have to have a mount made up.

If it's out of a Lincoln, it might also have that odd snout mounted power steering pump, which is probably not ideal.

If it's anything like an XE efi the efi loom comes out seperate to the main loom. The senders on the big block should hookup as per normal then.
