Default bad luck over

As the title says i hope the bad luck is over. Melbourne cup day started
out fine untill i went to start the car at lunch time turned over but wouldnt
start.called R.A.C.Q and he could not get it going either.SO on the back of a
tow truck to ford it went.Three days later $900.00 and a new gas converter
seal kit im finally on the road again.

One week later wondering why im loosing coolent from reserve, could only think of one thing.Checked the dip stick and well you guested it,the oil was
a little bit milky. So off with the head.Head gasket was fine no sign of anything
wrong with head so sent it off for a check.they took cam off and found a crack running over 2,3,4.So after testing another 3 heads and 2weeks later
im back on the road again. Lets hope the bad luck is over.

Now that ive got i back i have sent some pics,i hope they come thru first time posting pics

Damn ... Ford rorted you something shocking. $900 for a seal kit.
Bloody hell ... my replacement engine was cheaper.

If you can next time ... speak to Boral Alternative Fuels ... they supply the Vialle parts for half the price Ford do ... they sell the stuff to Ford and they mark it up by double.

Your kidding ... parts price didn't seem to bad ... but labour was a killer.
They must be charging $250 an hour ... hee hee.

Best bet to try and find yourself a decent LPG mechanic me thinks.

I was thinking the labour should have been $500 cheaper (well ... at least $400 cheaper then)
