i used to work at an egg farm, all eggs are the same no matter what!!!!

its preference to whether you what eggs from a caged chook(eats pallets) or from a chook that roams paddocks(freerange, eats pallets and insects and stuff, and gets to lay their eggs anywhere they want)

SOS

Vegetarians still eat eggs. Vegans do not eat eggs.

I cannot read all the words on the pack so I would assume that they are advertising that the hens that lay the eggs are not fed any animal products or genetically modified food.

It is sort of like buying frozen chips. You would assume that because they are potato they would be ok for vegetarians, however some contain animal fat whilst others are processed with vegetable or canola oil. You have to read the ingredients, however when spelled out in big letters like these eggs, it makes it easier to recognise products.

I'm pretty sure the vegetarian label is referring to the diet that the hens are on.

the human body was designed to consume animal products

i have always said, what if someone decided one day that they were going to be a "meaterarian"? theyd be pretty damn sick pretty quickly

When did this become a thread to criticise others over what they decide to put into their own bodies? It is about the eggs and why they are called vegetarian.

Go and eat your pigs brains, coz you sure as hell need some more.

You may be posting your 'personal preference' but you were doing so in a manner which is either directly or indirectly attacking other people's personal preferences.

This thread was never about that anyway.

Not true, otherwise we would have dedicated teeth more like an ape's set. And a few of my stepsisters are Vegans, and they prepare fantastic meals. I prefer to remain Omnivore, and that's personal choice.
