Picked these up today for $400, not a bad buy (and the seller had a sweet AU3 XR8 aswell!).
Stack of rims + refreshments.... Before and after... Now for the next questions I'll pre answer... 1. I know it needs lowering, and I have marginally lowered the front with Whiteline Control front coils (the front is actually lower than it looks, as it hasn't settled from dropping the trolley jack). I have no intention of lowering the front further, as it suits my needs and living environment. The rear will be addressed in the near future, and will most likely drop with 2" lowering blocks. 2. These are not rated to the one tonne requirements, but IDGAF anymore. 3. Tyres are Falken ZE-326, which from this site appears to be death by rubber - I'll make up my own mind. If they suck I'll change them, maybe. Or smoke them, maybe. 4. I don't expect the rears to rub on the XL tubliner because hopefully the swaybars will stop some of the body roll that contributes to the rubbing. 5. Photobucket mangels resizing pictures and they were only taken on a mobile phone anyways. But enough to get the idea across.. One of the tyres has a screw embedded in the tread, I'll get this fixed, a wheel alignment and all should be nice and sweet! Have a great weekend, and I can't wait for those Coopers to cool down! Dan...

Clearly you've never drank Coopers... but in seriousness, I'm happy with the outcome, but then again, these rims were designed for the AU and its a very accepted rim.
But as for the improvement over the old rims, 100%.. I'll be back down the Sunshine Coast area later this year, I'll attend some cruises now that I'm not held back by rim embarassment lol...

I wonder how long before someone notices the inconsistency in the pics.... (*cough* black line *cough*)
Yeah Luke, load ratings suck, but if I am forced to address the load ratings then I at least know I have options with the K104's, albeit at premium price. And you don't need to bribe Dave Darin, I'll send them in the post with some more rice car batteries for Declan... Dan..

yeh, they work for me, looks great, itsa massive difference and a step in the right direction, and for $400, well, give that man a...errr...coopers!!!lol! :baby bott
Gonz. ps: just thought ied mention that before purchasing the lowering blocks, just lift the diff housing off the mount 2"s and make sure the rim clears the bottom of the shock mount...i cant remember if my mate had 17's or 18's on his AU ute and when we tried to fit the 2" blocks the shock mount hit the inside of the rim!! sorry if you already knew that mate!!

Seems like a good deal mate, are they genuine or aftermarket? I just sold a set of aftermarket ones for more than double what you paid . The TE50 rims I just bought had Falken 326's on them too, I've replaced 2 of them (they were shagged), but still have 2 on the rear. They're not the greatest, but they're not the worst either. Go with Maxxis Z1's if you replace them, they're awesome, I put them the front and I'll be getting them on the back in a month or two once I've smoked the Falkens. Your ute looks great now anyway, those wheels lift it 100%.

I've gone for a bit of a drive, and the suspension has settled back into place. The hub to guard measurement is 375mm at the front, and 430mm at the rear. 2" lowering blocks would bring it down to 375/380 front/rear which unladen would look sweet. However if any more than 150kg was put in it, the rear would then become lower than the front, which is not a good look IMHO. So now I'm leaning towards 1.5" (38mm) lowering blocks, which according to either JC/GK (not sure which) will allow a 16" rim to fit over the lower shock mount. Because with the 15" spare, if I get a flat on the rear, the spare won't fit on, and it will be a jumble to take one from the front for the rear, and put the spare on the front. If I go 2" then it's off to find a Territory steelie as a spare. So either the back will come down 2" or 1.5"... just not 100% sure yet.
