I've been thinking of either painting or applying vinyl decals to my car to maximise visibility because in the last 18 months or so my car has been hit in car parks 4 times and I'm sick of paying panel beaters and my insurance company.
These are a 3 ideas I had in mind and all constructive criticisms are welcome. The are not the best photoshop pics, but I'm still learning. And I know the argument between paint and vinyl. Both have their pros and cons. Other colour choices are welcome and designs. I might even go with a dark purple or lime green

I really like number 2. Not a fan of the other two, colour is a good choice.

Yeah, I was thinking the second one as well. But the colour would be "an in your face" intense yellow or maybe purple.

Not sure stickers / stripes are going to stop dings in car parks, if they did we would see no dings in any gt's etc, so maybe try parking a bit further away than you do now.
stripes would be ok but for that reason not prevention of dings as such but may be wrong. |

All three designs are awful. No.2 is less likely to make you puke the morning after a night out than the other two. The yellow just looks crap.

hay im a sign writer if i were you i would def go the viynl over paint,
1, if applied right looks better then paint 2, lasts just as long, 3, can remove with ease if you get over it... i had viynl graphics on my old XR6 ute, when i sold it the guy was like i like the ute but not the graphics, easy ill take em off... SOLD!!! cant do that with paint. i like number 3 but if you like you can email me at fix8edgraphics@yahoo.com.au and i can through some designs your way, this is what i do. Orange on the black would also look good... |

Sticker sux. I'd never have vinal stripes on my car. You should be ashamed
Just kidding. I really like number 2. Seems to have the best effect. I would like to see it done. I would go with White for more effect, rathan than the yellow, unless of course your a Hawks supporter, in which case, you really should be ashamed : |

I'm leaning towards number 1 or 3, but with a variation. I'll have to speak with fix8edxr6 to get some additional ideas.
