Hi have an ea2 fairmont with an eb 4speed trans running 245/50/16 standard fairmont diff wouldnt pull the skin of a rice pudding of the line any sugestions on improveing the launch of the old girl

or upgrade your diff to something with 3.9 gears maybe. Five speed is more fun though. |

set the timing to 16 degrees and premium or 98, made a world of difference to my EB, especially off the line. also better fuel economy.
I assume its an MPefi? |

Get a LSD with 3.9s That would give it some punch off the line.

with the auto go lsd with 4.11's get a stall converter to match the big *** cam u should get then get a big *** cam with chip, exhaust and induction, and get sick of that in a week or and and decide a jim mock dev 5 engine would be the way to go. so ya get that and realise u need forced induction so ya get that and snap ya neck when launching and that should just about do it

thanks everyone for your input but i am going the injected v8 option should keep me happy for a while scored the whole conversion motor through to diff 3,500 nz dollars
