Right, so I hear a song playing on MMM here in melbourne, cant get it out of my noodle. Google is gay and keeps giving me songs by N'Sync....... my friends are useless..
It's a late 80's-ish - early 90's song, By a band that sounds hoodoo guru-ish. From what I remember song goes .... Here we go, Here we go for one more turn? ..... We can save, something something something if we try, you and I - you and I something dah dah dah dah dah... any pointers appreciated !! |

I'm 75% sure that you're right with the ' dancing in the sun ' end of chorus thing. Google is still being a homo, and I'm not helping matters I expect. Couldn't find anything simular trawling through Noiseworks lyrics, So i'm scrubbing them.

Ignore everything i said before, whats in my head and whats actually the song, are 2 completely different things apparently
Boom Crash Opera - Dancing In The Storm Lying in the dark I know you are awake, I will not give in, I will not give in. Pulling faces and admitting not a thing, I will not give in, I will not give in. Lightning flash and everything is sharp and clear, I can see it all, I can see it all. And as the thunder roars we're raising up a storm, We can shout it down, we can shout it down. Gone are the days of complacency, Gone are the nights of indifference. CHORUS: Here we go, here we go for one more turn, We can shake, we can shake the trees and earth, We can spin, we can spin and not fall down, Hold on tight, we can both become unwound, You and I, going out and we're dancing in the storm. Honestly, my foot is always in my mouth, Still the words come out, the words come out. Not the truth but I have nothing to confess, Just a hint of doubt, just a hint of doubt. Gone are the days of the sideway step, Gone are the nights with no partner REPEAT CHORUS In the sto-o-o-orm, in the sto-o-o-orm In the sto-o-o-orm, in the sto-o-o-orm Gone are the days of complacency, Gone are the nights with no partner Gone is the way that we used to be, Now the corner is turned, heaven knows we've learned

You people are legends. I'll be listening to it all day long now. That's definately the song XR8Fella - Remind me if we're ever going to the same meet that I owe you a beer or 2.
Thanks for the offer Yellow_festiva , But undisclosed sources have provided me with a copy. :voldar02: Thanks for your efforts folk. |
