Brad, GT 8888, has chrome coloured ones on black. They look pretty good.

Silver or white - although I saw one with chrome stripes the other day (as above) and it looked cool.

Right over the top is good, and it's never been done. :Reverend:

I would go with White for the bulge. I think White looks pretty good. If you were doing side stripes as well, I'd suggest a more subtle colour.
