You’ve actually stuffed up the thread title. It should be…
Tamworth. Who’d want to live there?

Nice place to be, drove through it once, 2nd time took the detour of some 300ks around it, took ages to peel off all the stickers the first time.

I don't get what everyone has against Tamworth? I reckon it's a fairly nice place to live.
Just have to put up with the country music festival once a year. |

they didnt want those foreigners and now undre pressure they are allowing them to stay(or that is subject to change),and this was a view shared by many residents (at the meeting) also main street is one lane, parking is F'd and has more zebras crossings then the zebras have stripes in africa combined. ummm food is almost 1-2 dollars dearer and petrol is a rort on the outskirts of town 1.40+ oh last saturday tops it off heat and humidity reminded me of my first week in qld weather after moving from canberra damn heat wave almost smashed our windscreen.. but yeah i dont make it a habit to visit the relo's as often |

Parking is fine, never had a problem finding a park ever.
Food is the same price as anywhere, duno wtf you're on about. Petrol is 1.21 at the moment, who gives a **** what it is outta town? Weather has been quite nice until about last week, but mid 30's isn't that bad. QLD is generally a lot worse! I much prefer living in Tamworth compared to Newcastle (where I stay for UNI), so much less traffic! |

I was born in Tamworth and have two sisters living there and my parents live in small town 45ks out called Manilla. I love it down there. Ihave never had a problem getting a park. Petrol is the same price as anywhere else in NSW. The main street is very pretty and has lots of street appeal. Yes it is hot but so is QLD it is a different sort of heat it is more dry. I would rather that than the humidity we have in Brisbane. Just about everything you need in Tamworth is there. If my sisters were not there I would live there. LOL
