Mate the is the sexiest XH I have seen, very nice!

I like what you have done to the seats aswell. They only thing that lets those utes down is the god awful dash, is there any way of putting an EF/EL one in?

Ive been thinking about getting an XH, but Id be damned why they keep their value so well.

The tail lights are not led's. I bought led's to go in as taillights but they don't have an extra filament/globes that light up when you actually put the brakes on. I'm not sure if you can get led's that do this or not. The globes that came with it were just red ones but without the red reflector housing they light up almost pinkish which I don't like. But super bright when the brakes go on.

It's nuts how well these utes hold their value. Never heard of anyone that's done a dash conversion on these. Agree that they look ordinary - hence the dash mat but I've since gotten rid of that now too.

ORSM T - any pics yet?

I live in brissy so wats the go there if i want the headlights? do u send them up and recomend an manufacture? or send them and let me install them? ... with instructions preferably.

Also how much am i looking at getting them installed? mine are prob the originals and are so faded plus u get absolutly shoit distance with these headlights, after driuving my parents BA XR6 MK I and my old AU XL that i was missing out on some deer startling power. I prefer brighter so i can stun those lil critters and take the the **** out lol

Also where did you find that body kit the front bar looks sweet but yea skirts i can olnly find the original ford style dam it we need straight bar skirts for the XH look so much better

The Dok made my lights ... am extremely happy with them.
Projectors transformed them totally (look and beam pattern as well).
This is how they should have been from factory.

Thanks again Simon, what a great Ambassador you have been, (I must admit though, they do look sweet in the ute) :

I like everything about the ute except the green lights. Pretty neat rig without being over the top or "country rice" (you know the ones, massive bullbar, truck mudflaps and 20 CB aerials as thick as your arm!).

Looking like the LED's have gotta go then judging by all the comments. they really don't look all that bad with the normal headbeams on. It just leaves a nice little green tinge in the lamp which suits the colour scheme of the ute....but rice is rice I guess.

I will ponder the folly of my ways and probably just take them out.

Duffman and Mechan1k, your lights look sweet.

"Also where did you find that body kit the front bar looks sweet but yea skirts i can olnly find the original ford style dam it we need straight bar skirts for the XH look so much better"

Body kit was all sourced from sydney special vehicles (ssv.com.au). Agree, we need a better sideskirt/rear pod kit for these xh's. I'm going to bite the bullet and put some of the tickfor rear pods on. they are the only ones that I know that are available for the xh. the kit just looks unfinished they way it is at the moment...but most xh ute with skirts don't have the pods bcoz there is nothing really suitable.
