Talking On the road again

It's been a long 8 month but my AU is back on the road WOOOOHOOOO I also put in a casper air intake system, I added a 90mm pipe in the front of the air cleaner.

: I had to have second gear and the cluster gears replaced 2000 later. It's so sweet to drive a car with power.

Don't forget to buy a air duct hose from autobarn $30.00. cut it to size then mount it in the opening between the left headlight and the radiator. that way, you draw in cold air.

Not needed on the XR's, we get plenty of air sucking in from behind the headlights themselves. Unlike the standard headlights the XR's have a gap around the headlight and the nosecone that lets all that lovely cool air into the caverty in front of the airbox.

RSpec, great to hea the red monster is back in action. Time for a trip to Calder to celebrate me thinks.

Great mod Casper, my au has seal headlights. I could hear this lovely intake sucking noise from my eng its got this rich hollow throaty sound. it sounds better then the stadard XR6 I took for a test one time, But without the KWs. hay, my wifes EF falcons upper intake cover would sound good in my au.

I would love to go to Calder again but last time it cost me $2000

That hose might work from the brake air duct which would replace the Tickford one from under the bonnet.

: u r so right but the Au for now has to be the family car as it's the Fairlanes turn to made roadworth and possibly register it aswell. Can't afford to have the AU out of action as the baby is due any day now.
