They even queue up at the lights in the right hand lane. 4 deep I saw tonight, so the lefthand lane holeshot is a legitimate move in my book.

Also...you have to watch these crafty womens spying on partners on a car enthusiast forum. Imagine if she found shopping for a russian bride. That would have been an amusing situation
I have to laugh at the ones that see the "old Ford" sitting at the lights and pull into the left, terminating lane and think they have every chance of out accelerating it in their Landcruiser.

It is hard to believe some of the c**p that actually makes new these days.

Surely, there are more important things to worry about than some spoiled cow who wants a nose ring..

by the way this is Pursuit_chick lol signed in wrong name
Drives like my grandfather used to drive. Thankfully he turned 85 and failed his driving test for speeding, among other things. Tragedy is he wants it back! He's 87 in May and gets cranky 'cause we wont take him out driving. (He has Ls!) Luckily he's too tight to pay for an instructor.

Wot cheeses me off?

When you buy a car in good faith from a yard. Then you find:
*The LPG system is all but stuffed and in need of a new computer
*The LPG tank fails the 10 year inspection
*The leaking front oil seal takes three attempts to fix it, under warranty
*When told that I'm going to get an RAA Inspection done on the vehicle, the dealer nearly has a coronary
*The power steering pump leaks
*The replacement hydraulic line for the power steering doesn't arrive when quoted
*The replacement power steering line is blocked by the contractors' attempt at quickly soldering the joins, leading to the power steering pump crapping itself
*The power steering pump crapping itself leads to the drive belt tensioner breaking
*The replacement drive belt tensioner is off a different model and doesn't quite clear the drive belt, leading to a series ov lovely grooves being worn into the tensioner
*The SECOND replacement drive belt tensioner doesn't fit either
*The THIRD replacement drive tensioner does fit, but then the wife has to cancel a day's work because I need the car so I can go to work when mine is getting drive tensioners replaced
*The dumb$h!# mechanic leaves the car in reverse when he gets out to greet the dealer and myself when we were going to see what mess he's made now, nearly running the wife over
*AND The RAA of SA says that the dealer can take the car to whatever mechanic he likes because he is the one giving the warranty (not exact words, but legal meaning is clear)

Beware where you buy your cars in Adelaide. My problems are now fixed, but it cost me money. The dealer would have made not a red cent on the sale after the repairs, however. Hee hee.

I just put my foot slightly on the brake (some people call tell when its just your parkers) and leave it there for a couple of km's then jam it on real hard great fun in front of pricks talking on thier phones, but most people loose thier nerve after awhile and back off.

All of the above is normal for any Ford over about 8 years old. Normally you would get the inspection BEFORE you buy the car and then ask for any faults to be fixed by the dealer.
