Default computer to tv video

anyone know if connectors exist to get video from a std vga output on a computer to a SCART input for the tv?

ive found a few ideas, but most of them require you to build a circuit of sorts, im just looking to see if anyone has bought the finished product.

You can get tv out cards and route that to vga via that and use the standard scart plug.

I agree go video card with TV out.
If not, it would be easier to find a VGA to S-video or RCA connector.
Then go S-video/RCA connector to Scart

I've got a graphics card with TV out. All I need to do is plug an S-video lead into the graphics card, and connect the other end to the TV. It's a good feature

alot easier now with the plasma, just use the vga

Im the same as Silver Ghia....Just bought an entry level 128 mb Nvidia Card for $120.00

You can use it for dual monitors also.....If you don't have an s video input on your tele you can get an adapter for Composite input which is just basically a single RCA(or one side of an RCA lol)

also becuase theres 2 vga ports you could get a doubled ended vga cord

s-video sucks on text on a tv screen

possible ways

VGA to VGA
tv-out to yellow on RCA
DVI to VGA to VGA
DVI to DVI
DVI to HDMI (only video of couse) dont use longer than 4 metres
HDMI to HDMI (only found on some cheap graphics cards)
anything to scart i havent seen
either upgrade the tv, run a vcr through the scart and the computer through the VCR (cheapest option)

i hooked up my pc with s video lead to my 81cm lcd and the text was blurry, video playback was good though, so if i get a dvi to hdmi lead will that let me use my lcd tv as a monitor with clear text? tv has hdmi input.

cheers dan
