replace the brake fluid
a ceasing caliper or warped rotors get them checked by a brake specialist

Disk rotors tend to warp easy on these babies, good idea to check them out.

Brake fluid is unlikey to be the cause but if it hasn't been changed in a while it's a good idea (and a bastard to do if you get an air bubble in the hydrolic clutch)
Firstly the 4ws light comming on means the fluid is low or the hydrolics have failed. Jack the car up and check for leaks around the rubber boots and check the system is working by turning the wheel to full turn and looking at the rear. Also as far as locked up brakes, your (most likely rear) calipers are seized on. There is a fault in the mazda626/telstar that causes the handbrake to lock the rear discs. This intern may well cause your rotars to warp. |
