would anyone like to clarify whether a brand new billet cam outperforms a regrind or any other advantages it might have ....... if any?

from what i understand unless its a custom grind there all the same,,ie 1636 billet is also a 1636 regrind,,the only difference is you don't need shims with a billet..

you order the cam, it gets sent to you for $120 plus $20-$30 postage plus $110 deposit added onto the total which you will get back once you send them in your old cam.

So yes you pay postage both ways

man, what a mess...

Rule #1 - my car is fixed/upgraded by me, me only. so i know whats wrong with it when it breaks.

Rule #2 - cam installs are easy, even for a beginner - there are tutrrials everywhere.

Rule #3 - go a regrind if you can, they don't underperforem opposed to a billet, they have a much smaller requirement for dialing in, and you will save $$... chances are if you go a big enough cam that will require new springs, you will need a chip or edit to run it properly anyway - 1636 is a good upgrade. it is the biggest you can go short of springs and a chip... mine pulls all the way to redline, now worries.
