yeah there is an idle adjusting screw on the throttle body but you shouldnt really need to touch it, it should be set properly if it hasnt been screwed around before, here is what you should try first, you will need a clock/watch for this and car has to be running and at operating temperature and it is best to keep the handbrake on and your foot on the brake:
For 1 minute keep the car in neutral For the second minute keep the car in drive For the third minute put the car back into neutral with the a/c on For the fourth minute put the car back into drive with the a/c still on and then when the fourth minute finishes turn the ignition off, put car into park, turn a/c off, then start the car and it should be idling right

1) make sure the car is at operating temp
2) with engine off disconnect the ISC 3) start engine and turn base idle screw until rpm is correct (450-600rpm) 4) stop engine and reconnect the ISC also it wouldn't hurt to clean your ISC

i think its that small round cylinder that sits on top of the throttle body. It has a wiring plug connected to it.
Someone before mentioned to adjust it to 450-600. Isnt that a little low? Should be around 750rpm in park and 550-600 in drive with foot on the brake |
