Ash,
The hose goes to the inlet manifold. Just a 'T' piece will do. Best spot it the brake booster line. If you have an auto, use the clutch hole. If it is a light one, it will have two wires. You can get power for it very easily depending on where you fit it.

thanks for that, would you or anyone have a diagram or photo of where the T piece goes? cause theres a few pipes in the engine bay, and don't want to go tapping into the wrong one.
To get the pipe from the tacho to the pipeline, where abouts is the clutch hole located? does it require any drilling or removing something? And as for the wireing, i'd have to tap into the igintion 12v true? I know its alot of questions, just want to get things right. cheers

The vac gauge should have come with a muli size T piece.
Cut the hose between the brake booster and inlet manifold, the top of the T piece goes here. The bottob of the t piece will need a vacuum line connected to it. The clutch hole should be there (looks like a small pipe facing down), you can run the hose through here, up under the dash and to the gauge.

thanks for your help LTDHO, I can ask a friend where exaclty to tap into but what im concerned about is the clutch hole is ocupied by a power cable for my amp (as JB installed it), if i were to put a tacho and vaccume gauge, where would it go through?
1 more question..how do you feed it from under the pedals once you have the cable coming through to the top of the dash, what panels need to be removed in order to do so? as there is little gap to bring the cables up onto the tach or gauge, sorry for all the questions, just im really lost :S

Hybrid, ask all the questions you need>
It’s ok, to fit the vac line in with the amp power wire. Once you have the line in the car, keep it as high as you can so it doesn’t come near your feet. Use electrical tap and/or cable ties to secure it. You don’t want to get it tangled with your feet.

Oh i would fit it with the amp cable but its covered the hole so nothing else can go with it, i was thinking theres a rubber plug located on the top right side of the foot whel, which u can take out...wouldi tbe ok to drill through that rubber plug and go via that? and where is the easiest place to locate an accesories wire as the gauge is light up?
