Just goes to show that there's a few of us on these forums that actually think to look for the relevent information before posting dumb questions.

Damn you get 10 year renewals in Victoria ... bastards.
Maximum is 5 years in NSW ... and about the same price too.
5 years renewal is for Gold Licence only AFAIK too (for NSW).

Fairmont99 got his full licence last month, and went for the 10 year option. Only problem is that when he's 33, he'll still have the same licence photo as he did when he was 17.

I've seen it... :

My last 5 year old licence barely lasted the 5 years ... could hardly read anything on the card by the end of it's life.

Hey Erik. Lets hope you get to your full licence without any more dents in your car, huh?! Why should you have been off your Ps by now?

I think the costs are a bit different in each state, but yeah, check out the links that the guys have put in above for you.

And mate, again, if you want to be taken seriously, you REALLY need to learn to communicate in a way that is beyond that of a 6 year old. It is not hard.

Hey guys, I get off my Ps in 4 months time. It is about time too, as I should have been off them already. Anyway I was just wondering how much it costs for a full licence in Victoria, for the 3 year and 10 year option.

Thanks. I will be grateful for any help.

Why should you have been off your Ps by now? because i got my P’s very late, ie when I was 22 years old and 2 slack to get it earlier, I should’ve been off them ages ago, so by the time I get of my p's, I’ll be 26 and every since my accident I have changed the way I’ve been driving., I can’t believe 10 years full licence cost $150 D*m

GOLD? Drive a truck and you have to have one of the cute Magenta ones! we aren't allowed to have a gold one.

But to make all the Mexicans happy here's our prices
$43 for 1 year, $103 for 3 years, $137 for 5 years

Hee hee ... I'd rather have a Magenta one than a Gold one ... trust me.
Although my last Gold one was that worn from my wallet that you couldn't see the Gold strip at the top ... half my photo was rubbed off and you couldn't read my address or half the Licence Number.

went to RTA a few year back to get it replaced because it was illegible ... they said they wouldn't replace it and wait till it expired ... I laughed at them and walked back out.

I went to the RTA the other day to renew rego for a company car. When I showed them my license, he took it and said it must be replaced.
I got a new one free of charge because it was a bit messy, the picture had bits missing.

See .... that's what I would have thought would happen. I had a few cops (RBT) remark on the condition of my licence ... I just told them RTA refused to replace it as it wasn't due. They were a bit shocked about that and said "Well there's nothing you can really do about it then".
