Angry Victim Of Theft(need New Window)

Just wondering if anyone knows how much a side window should cost and how easy is it to replace. I got home from a night out with mates only to find some lowlife had broken into my car by smashing the drivers side window stealing nothing but a radar detector out of it, its a brand new 5000ks old XR8 they've also scratched the paint on the door and cut the door trim up when they've smashed the window not to mention the small shards of glass scattered through the car, ****es me off drug ********* *******!!!!!!!!!!!!. If anyone could help would be appreciated. (Insurance is an option but i think just paying for it myself probably will be close to the excess so whats the point) : : : : : : :
