Well Bill gates foundation is repotedly donating US$3M and also matching any donations made by employee's from their companys (which will be in the millions too). Also dont forget that he already donates a few hundred mill each year to various other organisations.

Last time I checked, Bill Gates had a spare US$50 billion lying around, and at one stage it was approaching 80 or 90 billion.

$3 million is a fair amount anyways. I don't like Bill Gates but at least he is donating. Even if he donated $50 he is still doing it.

considering he makes millions of dollars per minute $50 would be an insulting "donation" on his part....the thought does count, but that would be such a pitiful donation, it'd make me sick coming from him.

he does however donate millions to aids, so he does do good.
