Default BA Manifolds, do they fit?

Just asking whether or not a BA XR6T exhaust manifold will fit onto a SOHC engine... You would think that being a DOHC, it wouldn't, but then again they use a very similar (if not identical) inlet manifold.

Reason being I am looking for options for a turbo setup, when my head gasket gets fixed...

Id say the bolt holes line up but you would need to do some porting as the exhaust ports on a dual cam 4.0L aren't the same as an e-series AU block.

Only one way to find out.

*evillaugh*

Making the ports larger isn't a problem, but making them smaller might be. Being cast stainless, it would be a ***** to weld.

Or I could just port the head.

Actually I will check at ford on friday when I pick up my shifter boots if the are the same (shape) exhaust gasket...

BA have a quite different port shape (oval) versus AU and prior shape (round)...
