Red face '06 Focus Sound Systems

Has anyone in a 2006 Focus done any car sound systems yet in the car? Post some pics up, to get some ideas.

Hey

yeah i have upgraded my system in my focus. i have -

4 channel sony amp
2 pioneer 2 way 6/9's
1 12inch MTX road thunder
Standard head unit

sorry dont have any pics at the moment but will get some tomorrow

Standard head unit using a line out high level to low level converter tapped in from the rear speaker line.

12" Eclipse sub and crap amp. I did have a 820w monoblock in there at some stage though...

Default Avn6000

Hi Guys

here are some pic of my Eclipse AVN6000 installed.

Havent changed speakers or poped in a sub yet as standard speakers sound OK for now.

That looks REALLY good.

Does anyone know if there are bigger touch screen systems available? If I did something like this I'd perhaps want to try and fill the entire space, even if it mean a custom frame being built.

What functions do you want - DVD Player - GPS - Ipod interface...?

Either way I dont think there is a bigger screen version availaible - also would depend how many $ you have to spend..

I was thinking a touchscreen that would basically fill the space, hooked up to a car-puter.

i got 2 coustic 10's wit a small amp runnin off standard head unit.in 2 nice little boxes.looks good and doesnt take too much room.

Where'd you get the enclosure for the screen?

I can see it doesn't take up the entire space where the original head unit was.
