Hi all.
I'm looking for a left- hand side mirror for my Esky, but I'm not sure if they came standard with the car or if it only came with a driver's side mirror. Are the side mirrors on an '81 Mark 2 found on any other Fords? I'm also looking for a replacement set of rear number plate lights. Does anyone know where these are available (preferably in Sydney)? Cheers and Beers. |

Hey,
Probably the that you know anyway, but to get things started, I got rear number plate lights on the uk ebay (ebay.co.uk). Bit expensive, but they come up often and are new (not original parts, but new neither the less). |

Side Mirror is the same as XA, XB & XC Falcon. There is a piece you will need to mount under it to make the Mirror straight. They were available as an option, my old Escort had one but it was standard becasue it was a Ghia.
As for the Number Plate Light, I'm pretty sure it was the same as the XD Falcon one. I got a new replacement for my Escort back in the early 90s. I'm not sure if Ford will still have them as as spare part.

Thanks for that, smciner1. Found genuine lights at Greenacre, Allford spares, I think (for anyone else who might like to pick up a set.)
