hi all,
ive decided on the exhaust and extractors that im fitting to my el xr6, im going to get pacemaker 4480 and a straight through redback 2.5 system and a high flow cat (which i chose over a lukey number). what are your thoughts the whole set up is gonna cost me $940. i can still change if there is anything better out there. |

i got the std extractors being 4499's
Its got more power than what it would have without it put it that way, it was noticable but not outstanding if that makes sence! Good luck with it all, and be sure to let us all know how it turns out :-) |

I agree with you cranners, I've just had the pacemaker 4499's put on and the difference is deffintly there but its not massivly there, hmm that is hard to explain!
Hamka I'd say $940 is pretty good for a brand new system. In the last week I've almost got a whole new system for half that. All second hand parts... Extractors: $120 Modded cat: $66 Cat to diff with 1 muffler: $50 Labour: After a few problems its up to $120 I had to get the cat to diff part of the exhaust as the exhaust shop ********** my other one.

Straight through muffler should be mandatory for anyone putting an exhaust on their e-series! People that go the hot-dog always want it to be louder, so my advice is 2.5" mandrel bent, with a straight through muffler!
