i was considering putting little Holden Lion emblems in lines under the right wing mirror of the EB, sort of like how allied WW1 & 2 fighter aces put swastika's every time they shot down an axis enemy.. but then i realised just how pathetic, stupid, (but original) that is...

This thread is gold :P

Every time I see a monster tacho, i just can't help myself pointing and laughing... Half the time the ones I see aren't even connected!

Even "real" racecars dont have them, all they need is a shift light... A doorslammer or something would rev too quickly and shake so violently that you wouldn't be able to see the needle.

Install it if you must, but you know people are just going to laugh as you drive by lol :P

No, the Commodore boy need to have a little sticker for each power pole he has hit or Commodore written off. More points to him if he has split the car in two and walked away.

Totally spot on. Monster tachos are the biggest waste of time ever unless you're actually dragging/racing your car often and then as quoted above, you're better off with a shift light. Basically they're rice.

Who would of guess that this thread would of gone this way in just 24 hours.......... lol

IMO Monster Tacho's are fine as long as you have the power to back up the need for it........

Better suited for cars that are run down the drag strip..........

The V8 Supercars dont even have Monster Tachos
