Horsepower 400 bhp @ 6000 RPM
Torque 390 lb-ft @ 4700 RPM
Is that all??? Surely they can extract more!
Yanks haven't heard of decent handling either!!!
If i brought it i would have to:
Rework the suspension + lower it
Better [bigger] tyres + rims to fit big Brembo's
Supercharge it etc
Oh no, that bug is hitting me!!!

Not quite true, in most conditions a vehicle with a multi-link IRS suspension is far superior due to the fact that it doesnt suffer from sympathetic camber changes when a wheel goes over surface imperfections. It is thus able to keep optimal tyre contact on the other wheel and therefore puts its power down more efficiently.

Now on a drag strip, the benefits of IRS are negated somewhat because the surface is as flat as a billiard table, furthermore when dealing with the immense power of say a top fuel dragster, Universal Joints become something of a weak point.

A Mustang ain't a top fuel dragster however.
