Anyone know how to fix it? the hinge inside is seized and i bent my lid a bit, the button inside the car feels like its working its clicking but the lid doesnt realease.

I'm thinkin' WD40 and possibly try the remote fuel lid release rip cord in the boot.

yeah ive been using the pull thing in the boot but im sick of doing it. I'LL just get a new hinge from wreckers

Get out and hit it with you hand before you try to pop the lever in the car, mine sticks sometime, always works

if the pull thing in the boot will allow it to open it wont be the hinge, it'll be the solenoid

yeah i see. where the helll is the solenoid?? i need a new hinge now anyway cos i have bent the lid and it doesnt shut flush with the body anymore

solenoid is what operates the little tag that holds the flap shut. the cord is attached to the solenoid also.
usually just a couple of screws and unplug it and remove, you may need to remove the boot carpet to locate it |
