I love those old girls. They have a character that later cars have trouble competing with. Great pics!!

Don' think it was these they'd driven in from Gympie..lunch in Tin Can Bay then onto Maryborough.

But I could be wrong.

Most were QLD rego and one SA.

yeha dont know only glimpsed them.. was just a truck load of vintage cars of that sort of shape..

was quite strange obviously..

definatly a classic among classics..
hard to think, that is what a T bucket etc hotrod comes from eh..

At least thse days you can get fibreglass bodies and leave the real ones for the restorers.

I have tremendous respect for vintage cars like that, but what would catch alot of people off guard is one with a chunky V8, or hypo Turbo 6. :

I did as well, it was on Loganlea Road here at Meadowbrook. Saw it and was mesmerised, almost missed my street.

Those of you from canberra may have noticed several hundred Austin Motor Cars from the 1920s-1970s around the town theres an Austins Over Australia which is heald in a different state and is run every 2nd easter weekend. My dads up there in my 1950 Austin A40 as i couldnt be due to work and family commitments

Yeh saw them yesterday. Some unusual cars there, ones I had not seen before.

I was more interested though in the Mustangs across the road though. Some really top quality cars there this year. Would of been a really tough job being a judge.
