Question Climate Control Question

Hello people,

I just a have a question on the operation of the BA Fairmont Ghia's climate control. I have searched the Operator's Manual and this site, but could not find what I am looking for.

How do you turn on the heating, without using the air-conditioning ?? :

Push auto, set the temp you want than push the button marked A/C that will leave the temp where you set it and disingage the A/C.
