i did work experience for 8 weeks at a country holden dealer a number of years ago, we had a habit of working the v8's hard (and occasionally "breaking in" the tyre rubber on cars owned by the dealer) on test drives.
i got to work on an SS marked car and a black SS unmarked car (both genIII VX's) I was on my L's so couldn't drive them but got to have a play with all the little cop toys, they were a lot of fun, although we were never this stupid!!!

oh dear, silly boys, someone will bust em !!!

i remember a friend did work experience at local dealership at they were working on, at the time a new VU SS ute for a business customer, and the mechanic took him on a test run and he did some circle work and broke the front passenger strut. So they quickly dodged it up with one of a car on the lot

The capri is the Trick and Mansweto car . That wheelstand was in streetmachine a few issues back and he didnt keep his foot into it after it landed , the accelerator was jammed wide open! He had to shut down to stop !

Pulls a skid?? Even though I have never done one, I would say that's a burnout NOT a skid and the car is Victoria Police. As if they would not notice the rubber all over the rear guards

That's not a Victoria Police car.

Perhaps South Australia?

It was an SA cop car, they've just changed the colour patterning/layout for the new cop cars (read: Holden's, they never buy Ford's).

While I found that very amusing, it also makes me wonder - how often does this happen to the cars the public send in there? Fair enough the coppers, coz the police force will pay for any damage, but when its someones car.......

I don't think they've changed anything - its CLEARLY an SA car, and they've used that colour scheme for at least 10 years - there's a pic of a VS somewhere with the same stickers.

Which workshop was it? Stienborner's Gawler by any chance?

that was the last of our exec v8's so I'm sure the boys had a fun time. I understand that wasn't the only burnout they did in it and all captured on video. How dumb are they?!
