Hi Greg, yup, I've got a big red Autometer light now too. The motor looked surprisingly in good nick, although we replaced all the bearing anyway. The new oil pump has a big stainless steel brace from the pickup bolt to the girdle now, so hopefully there should be no flexing.

I've given up worrying about fitting in with the APSCA rules, the guys that run it seem like a bunch of GM lovers. I heard even Gonzo with the 514 red XY has been banished to Outlaws with me because he has a bolt in front cross member. What a crock of ****. Besides, how many of the other so called fast pro street cars where out on a cruise last night, like the silver barge was?
