Stay with cannon's all the way through (I used arrow towers a little with a few upgrades & also basic air towers with upgrades for the albatross's - then sold them straight away).

On the last two levels I used cannons only (basically filled in the whole of the green area with overlapping fully upgraded cannons).

You need to save money and continually upgrade the interest levels until you get to 35%. You can get by 1 or two cannons for the first 10 of so levels. If you save your money here you'll have heaps as the levels progress.

Theres an update of the game.

Has a new map, larger area to put towers, and the creeps are much harder to kill

You can have whatever score you like without even playing the game... All you need is some Flash SWF decompiling software and a little know how. : ... thats why the scoreboard was changed to only include the 5 most recent hours of high scores.

I ended up finishing the game using tactics from one of the web pages and got to 247,000 I think.

So the high scores are possible if you use the correct tactics and spend a lot of time playing !

thread mining hehe

i have finished this several times yet can only get around 11-12 000 points

does the interest affect money as well as points? as you only get wood every 7 rounds and you need fire water and earth to get the multi cannon....i cannot see how any one can upgrade interest as a priority...if i didn't have them multi cannons asap i can't get very far

I beleive the figures were hacked. I dont beleive you could possibly get such ridiculously high scores.

You don't need a multi cannon - just a std cannon and an arrow or air tower every now and again. Check out the tips from some of the high scores in my post above.

Shinobi had a great tips post which I used - but the details doesn't appear to be there any more. Some of the other posters in the Forum to which his tips are linked have posted tips too. Shinobi had screen dumps of how to position towers etc.

This was it:

http://novelconcepts.informe.com/shi...big-dt391.html

You may wish to check all the other posters in the forums above to find a way to get up to 290,000. It's all about spending wood on interest only, and selling towers before the end of a level if they're not needed for the next level.

Calm down mate, it was more a speculative comment. I wouldnt know how the hell they did it. Perhaps my original comment came across differently than it should have.

That link does help answer my critical statement though.
