There's a big differance comparing andra to the nhra. I don't no what there fee structure is in the state's, but say if they paid what we pay before they new fee come's in, nhra would be making a truck load just because of the population! And most likley the number of licence holder's here would be very small, being we have a small population, it is the only way they seem to be able to do it. :

I wonder what the flow-on effect will be in 12 months? Not sure what to think about all this. I guess we all have to wait and see. I haven't long bought a car to do up for a bit of strip duty...

I guess it could cause a lot of people to stop racing the bigger classes and just run Super Street at the big meetings and the street meets and t-n-t's. This could increase the grass roots level racing, which in a way could meet the "development" aspect of the press release.

I do have a question for the guys who do race and I am not trying to be a smartar$e, but if there are racers who are now financially strapped to keep racing, wouldn't the increases in fuel and maintenence alone etc be enough then to push them over? I know you would budget for a certain increase, not this sudden etc. but an budgeted increase all the same.
