Yesterday I picked up my new beast
Its a 30th Anniversary EA GL, its got a 4spd auto, its on gas (doesnt run on petrol), its got cut springs, 16" mags, Kenwood system, gangsta window tint, ohh and a blown head gasket :P I paid $350 for it, and its rego runs out tommorow I think, but doesnt worry me really. This will be my daily runabout as its on gas and pretty damn cheap. Its not perfect obviously, but it will do. The mags will be going and a set of stockies going on, maybe with EL Futura hubcaps, and possibly a catback exhaust and decent springs/shocks to make it ride and sound a bit better than now. I want to try and do the head gasket myself, but I know i'll stuff it up, so I'm looking for someone to maybe host a head gasket change at there place as I have bugger all tools (apart from myself :P) and very little knowledge on how to do it. Obviously i'll supply the food AND the grog, so if anyone wants to host let me know Exactly what will I need to buy for the head gasket? Is there a kit for them? Where do I get them? - pEtE |

Pete, should be a nice daily when ya finished with it.
You know what to do to it, so you don't need suggestions. The only one I would recomend is a 5 speed conversion.

Looking good man, should service you well as a daily driver. Gas is definately the way to go these days with petrol prices, cant wait to get my car on LPG either.
Good luck with it. |

Dave, GL bars are staying :P not too sure about the spoiler, maybe if it was a factory one :s |

Hey mate as I said in the PM if you need a hand with the gasket let me know. Only thing I don't have is a torque wrench, other than that I'm fairly pro at doing 'em on the dodge.
Looks like a decent car by the way. Sundeep |

Plans for the EL, not sure about yet. I might have a go at some retrimming and if theres enough cash, a respray.
The EA is CFI, haha, but it doesnt worry me at all, the less money spent on it means the more money the EL gets Sunny, definately interested in the dodge way :P |
