I know a mate who is putting a Supra 6 speed into his VK Commodore, the car isn't on the road yet but it should be a nice car when its finished.

Does anyone know...
How much power they handle stock? Does the shifter fit in the standard position? What other modifications need to be done to fit? Cheers

5 speed supra box? How strong are they? 400-450rwhp? If you're going to the trouble, a supra 6spd (Getrag) would be nice... proven 8 second gearbox... but with a price-tag to match :(

If it's the R154A style box (ie Soarer or JZA70 Supra) then it's not really worth having. They are reasonably strong but do fail under any sort of thrashing or power loading. You'd be better off with a T5.
