I thought they used G8 on the Fairlane.

G6 or G6E or whatever it is sounds a bit odd. I cant see them dropping XR and replacing it with that!!

There is already the luxury pack option on the XR range, dont really see the need for a Fairmont Ghia XR6... Unless of course its a Fairmont Ghia with the Turbo engine...

G6 or G6E are probably SWB replacements for Fairlane. I'd guess that G6E might be an e-gas version.
