Forza Motorsport 2 Xbox 360

hey everyone,

Well anybody who owns a 360 and who loves car games would probably already own Forza Motorsport 1, and is probably aware of the sequel Forza motorsport 2's pending release. Well so far I'm 53% done of downloading the demo of forza motorsport 2 off Xbox Live. 691MB, and it doesnt cost any microsoft points

. Ive seen that's its coming out on June 8th, but wikipedia is most likely wrong. Ive heard from friends on Xbox live that it is fantastic and the game physics are amazing. Is there anybody else on FF that has Xbox 360 live? Anybody else have some Info about FM2 that would be worth hearing

I downloaded it the other night, pretty good, great graphics, You can use like 20-30 different cars in the demo, including a GT40, Saleen race car.
Also there is like 100 mods for each car.

Yeah, it's not too bad. Already bored with the track and the cars without being able to modify them. AI is a little too slow but at least they're nowhere near as robotic as Gran Turismo. The TVR is a handful with all the aids off and the MC12 sounds like a mosquito. :\ Found that the sound of the other cars drowned out my own so I had to keep an eye on the rev counter to know when to change. Hopefully you can tailor sound in the final version.

Getting quite a few jaggies running 1080i. The final should be a hoot though. Perhaps with modifications, etc it'll get me a lot more interested.

any more info on what you can do to the cars.
Is it just the same old upgrades, or can you do some more interesting things with them?
How does it compare to forza 1?

Go into marketplace when you've signed into Xbox Live on your 360.

After playing the demo for a while over the weekend, I pre-ordered the collector's edition at EB

This is the game that will tell me which console I am buying. It will be between this and gt5 when it finally arives.

From what I have seen though forza is definately gonna be my pick but how things could change.

Has anyone noticed after the spring update that there is alot more jaggies in there games now. As my xbox 360 games look realy bad now even my brother has said it looks bad. Alot of people reporting it on other forums to, I hope microsoft fixes it soon.

I have an old crappy tv to but its realy bad anyway I guess I will have to put up with sega megadrive graphics for now ( slight exageration there ) Anyway I can't wait for forza either, played the demo to death.

There seems to be a lot of people suggesting that but apparently there's no correlation between the two. I can't comment on Forza 2 since I grabbed it after the update, but the other games I play look exactly the same to me.

There was a thread on forzamotorsport.net about setting up a TV for optimum 360 gaming and it does help by reducing the contrast and lowering the sharpness primarily. It did help with Forza but the recommended settings does make the screen darker.

Apparently you can do more. I haven't been keeping that up to date with it but forzamotorsport.net would be a good place to look. Thankfully Forza 2 has really snuck up on me and I've only taken notice of it in the last month.

The physics engine has been updated significantly and each car does seem to have its own nuances (which is always good), and more obvious than Forza 1. If you can get together a group of Aus guys who like to race and rub instead of punt you off the track, I can see spending a whole lot of time on this.

IMO, I have Forza 1 and 2 certainly looks like $100 worth to me.

Yeh i got forza 2 demo, love it, cant wait until the end of this month or early next month for its release.

I downloaded it when it came out, its quite good. The collision noises are awesome. Also I was annoyed at the other cars drowning out your car noise, so go into audio before you start the race and turn engine volume up and drop opponent cars and stuff to around 60%. Makes your cars sound much better.

And for lots of fun, grab the 350z in C class, turn off all assists, can leave it auto if you want, and try drifting around the track. If you pull off the first corner it looks freaking awesome in the replay shot.

Anyway I've pre-ordered the collectors edition so I can't wait for it. Comes with i think 3 cars that can't be bought elsewhere (well except for the online auction maybe). Should be here either 31st of May or 8th of June, either way, should be sweet.

I downloaded the demo the other day, a funny thing happened while i was racing i rammed a lamborghini in the **** and his bumper flew up the track, the guy swerved to avoid his bumper and hit the wall. i couldn't stop laughing..

I can't wait to drive the classic muscle cars and do them up..
